Conformity of The Riga International Arbitration Court to the Arbitration Law
The Riga International Arbitration Court implementing the paragraph 8 section 6 requirements of the Arbitration Law confirms to the Register of Enterprises of the Republic of Latvia its list of arbitrators as updated. Work with law reforms
The Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Latvia has been started work with establishment in norm of expressed findings that is related to arbitration competence principle in November 28th, 2014 resolution in case No. 2014-09-01 of Constitutional court of the Republic of Latvia. Members of the Riga International Arbitration Court actively are taking part in created task group work.
The new wording of the Rules of the Riga International Arbitration Court
The Register of Enterprises of the Republic of Latvia 16/12/2014 has registered new wording of the Rules of the Riga International Arbitration Court. The new wording of the Rules shall take effect starting from 1 January 2015. The new wording of the Rules are available in Latvian, English and Russian.
The Arbitration Law has adopted
On September 11, 2014 the Saeima made the decision to adopt the Arbitration Law, which has been promulgated on October 1, 2014. The Arbitration Law is set to come into force on 1 January 2015. The adoption of the new Arbitration Law is going to change the legal regulation of arbitration action.
